Yellow Parrot Tulip

Bit of a varied day today, started with rain, ended with a bit of sun. We decided not to go to Holland for the weekend so the boys decided to come here. There are all these unseasonally flowers, not only in the shop, but also in the garden. This is a macro of a yellow parrot tulip from a bunch of them found in the supermarket. It's in the windowsill, so the yellow green background is our front lawn :-) I did go into the garden and found that the hibiscus in the summer basket of mixed plants has three buds ready to burst and many others coming up. Poor plant must be very confused. I've re-potted it and taken it inside now, ready for another Blip soon :-)
