Bob and Caley

I got my camera back from repair today and the focus seems to be working fine now and what I think were oil droplets on the sensor have been removed.
I inappropriately described it earlier as my good camera being away for repair. I don’t mean that it isn’t good it’s just that I have an accumulation of devices now and it would entirely wrong to imply that any of them were bad. I don’t think there is such a thing as a bad camera and the one you have in your hand is the best of all, whatever it happens to be.

More importantly, tonight just as darkness came down, Bob Caley and I reached the top of Maol Ruadh. I realised the arrangement of wet boggy bits looked very similar to where I previously lost the ball flinger. (Walked away and forgot I had put it down to take a picture of the dogs last week) I did a quick pace back and fore with the torch and on my second loop found it. I can’t believe that our previous search in bright day light ended in failure. Mrs SJR has already ordered a new one so now we have a spare.
Earlier in the day Bob and Caley got a briefer walk on Maol Rudh. Bob’s Mum and Dad are home later tonight and he will be pleased to see them of course but he has been a very good boy on his two night sleepover.
