The day had come????

Having loaded my car with 3 large boxes I was on my way to the church hall by8.40am and got there at 9am. Then it was reversing what I had already done, the tables had been put out last evening, so all I needed to do was set my stall up", after that it was wait until we opened at 11.00am. The hall looked quite nice when everything was set up. We had a lot of people attend, which was a good thing as the object is to raise funds! It seemed that people were spending money, which meant that all the hard work was worth while! I had a figure in mind for my stall and I doubled my target so I was well pleased. The raffle was drawn at 2.30pm and I won a prize ( hush! it will turn up in someone's stocking )!! By 3.30pm I had packed my stall away, tho' there was so little left it didn't take long but my poor back had taken a knocking and was very painful ,therefore I just had to give in and come home. It is cold now so I'm off to put the central heating on and watch Strictly Come Dancing from the Tower Ballroom Blackpool and pretend I'm on the prom. In the sun!!!!!!
