Cross Country

Ben ran in his first ever cross country race today, it was harder than any of us expected, but he was brilliant, coming 36th out of about 100 year 5 boys. I'm not going to be a very good sports mum: the pain on their little faces just made me want to whisk them all away! This photo isn't of Ben, it's of one of the year 6 girls, I didn't take any good ones of him running as I didn't have my camera. And sometimes you need to focus on the actual event rather than the photo.

After lunch the children and I went to town so Ben could buy Fifa 15, and now I am going to cook supper before Marc and I go to see Turin Brakes live. Been a while since I've been to a gig!
