Last day

Last full day with Rubes as she has became known by me. Took her off for a hike around a local doggy walking area called Newseat which is land that was donated by a local farmer to the people of the town and the cairn in the shot was built to commemorate this fact.

The bothy here had the foundation stone laid by Prince Charles and was due to be turned into a environmental type building for local schools to use but as always the council ran out of money to peruse this due to them spending a fortune on cycle paths that absolutely no one uses as they were made to narrow and various other projects that have collapsed and crumbled since. Seems to me these days councils do not do what is required nor needed but what gets them back into power at the next election.

Anyway gone off topic a bit so after Rubes returns home my dearest will have to start speaking to me again which should be interesting.
