crossing a torrent to get my post

this is the side of our track - it's not meant to be a stream, just looks like one. This torrent goes down the side, crosses over (creating a mini-ford) and goes into a ditch which untill this year has been a dry ditch, Now it looks like a proper river. I have to step over this to get to my mailbox. I haven't slipped yet...and it is still raining.
