When art meets biology

Duesseldorf is a fun destination! Especially when your plan touches down at 6 am ;) So, I had a full day with my parents with some shopping, some milchkaffee and a visit to K21, a local museum of modern art. Pretty cool! This work is by artist Tomas Saraceno, who let multiple spiders consecutively build webs in a terrarium. He then used what he saw in their constructions to design a life size 'web' installed in the museum building for people to walk on.
