What time?

Super Handyman Husband could not believe I was getting up at 7am when we are on a little holiday.

The weather is supposed to be good. This morning on this lovely island so close to France so I decided to make the most of the morning and find the sunrise. This is what I found about 100 yards from our hotel looking across towards the Big
Harbour with Vale church in the distance in the direction of the town named after a saint who may have had his hair trimmed to reduce his strength.

Today we are. Going to look at some of the remnants of fear of attack in Napoleonic times and also remains of Occupation during WW2.
