Queued

At the start of the SNP Conference in Perth - which is the busiest I have experienced in over 30 years of coming to these events - I was sitting having coffee in the foyer of the Concert Hall which I glanced up at the balcony and saw this queue of TV journalists with their cameras waiting to interview Nicola who had taken office as SNP Leader just minutes before.

What a day it was and what an emotional farewell to Alex as Leader in the city where he was first elected to that post 24 years ago in a contest I remember well because I was his campaign manager.
