Tropical Church

Puerto Vallarta is photographically famous for a number of things, foremost among them is the church just off the malecon. I shoot photos of this landmark every time I am in town and it becomes a challenge to find new ways to interpret this beautiful subject. Tonight as we headed to dinner with some friends from our old home town who happened to be visiting this town, we passed by the church a little before sunset. I had just read an ebook on photographing during the "golden hour" and this seemed the perfect time to capture this warm toned subject. The palms framed it perfectly from the malecon, giving it a very tropical feel.
