Spruce with an identity problem!

There's a huge tree in the garden.

To be precise there are a lot of huge trees in the garden but the one I mean must be over 100 feet tall.

I've often referred to it as our huge pine tree but when I was in the garden earlier this small piece fell from on high and imagine my surprise to realise that it's actually a spruce.

That's a huge big tree identification fail for me then!

In other news .... a visit to the vets this morning for Maisy's second injections and she weighed in at 4.6 kilos meaning she's gained 1.5 kilos in two weeks (that's 3lb 4oz if, like me, you feel a need to convert!!).
