Holger and Addi
After breakfast, I took the boys for a lovely walk in some green fields not far from the hotel. It was nice - just the boys and I enjoying a quiet morning.
We came back and had a few hours in the hotel doing nothing but relaxing. It is important for me, that the boys are well rested, when they have to compete tomorrow.
A little past to 2 pm, we got a phone call from the last 2 members of our team. They had arrived by plane and asked if we could collect them... Well... Erm... Ahhh... I guess so... And suddenly it got very hectic as the 4 of us (that arrived yesterday) had to get ready to leave and go to the hall in no time.
It took 45 mins to find the 2 lost team members and we were all stressed and frustrated, but eventually we did find them and arrived at the hall rather late, but just to realise that the Championship briefing and training would be delayed too.
Argh!
We settled and had a nice hour opening good luck presents and cards. It was like Christmas! So many wonderful well wishes.
Finally we got to go to the briefing, but it was all rather chaotic. The training in the ring should have been 25 mins, but ended up being 15 mins, which meant that each dog had 2 mins in the ring to test the surface and get used to the surroundings. Not much!
A late dinner and now it is bedtime.
This is Addi the Dachshund posing with our team mascot Holger :-)
Keep your fingers crossed for us tomorrow.
