Day 9 - To Machhermo (4410m) - Turquoise Goddess

Up and up we climbed through the Gokyo Valley on our way to Machhermo (4410m). Our constant companion was the distant mountain of Cho Oyu (8,201m) which is the 6th highest mountain the world. Cho Oyu means Turquoise Goddess in Tibetan.
