No rest for the wicked!

Tonight was bowls night again.

This is always a fixture to look forward too .. Maerdy were our visitors. They are one of the top teams (if not the top team) in our league. They are a great bunch to lads to play against too. Most have been playing since I started .. waaaaaay back in about 1987.

It was a tough old battle .. and the five we dropped midway through the game proved decisive. Especially as we had fought back to being level at that point. We lost by four shots in the end, but it was a cracking game of bowls. I had a decent evening, with just a little slip of concentration for a few ends. These things happen in sport ...
