Poppy Harvest

Arrived in London early on the sleeper so had time to nip round to the Tower to see the remembrance poppies. They are an amazing sight. It was very quiet when I was there so plenty of time to stand and stare, and mull it all over.
I wandered passed again later and the poppy harvest had begun. Each was being picked and wrapped to be sent off to a buyer. I know the money will go to a good cause but it is a shame to see them go.
