A day and a half!

Today has been a bit of a day and a half!

I finished up work at VHS forever, and having decided to head down to Jane and Tony's house early (I'd initially planned to go tomorrow) I picked up the hire car and was about to take Wes to the cattery.

It was not to be. There was something wrong with the wee man, he wasn't eating, was lethargic and wouldn't let me touch him - he was hissing and spitting all over the place. Cue an emergency vet appointment.

We still don't know what's wrong with him. He's running a slight temperature and appears to have hurt his chest/shoulders. The vet couldn't find signs of a fight or any puncture wounds - but that's still looking to be the most likely option. He's had anti-biotics and anti-inflammatories and I'm watching him tonight.

Providing he is ok, we'll go to the cattery first thing and then I'll go down south after that. This is the first time I'll have ever left him, so I was stressed about it anyway, now I'm ridiculously stressed. The vet seems to think he'll be ok though!

Anyway this is the cake my friend Susan had made for me for my last day at work! She knows me so well - thank you Susan x
