Day 6 - Namche Bazaar - test day not rest day

A designated rest day in Namche Bazaar (3440m). However, to acclimatise to the altitude it was more like a test day with an 8 hour walk up to the Everest View Hotel and the scenic village of Khumjung (3780m). A glittering memorial to Edmund Hillary stands here with a school bearing his name. I was lucky to shoot this little boy focused on his kite.
