Around the World in 80 Blips: No. 8
5:00 pm - Arrive at Gelato cafe. Empty. Good.
5:10 pm - Comment Archangel's journal, telling him White and I are here early, and ready to go.
5:14 pm - The entire population of some small town pours into the shop - can barely see the cameras anymore. Bad.
5:16 pm - After almost 20 minutes of urging people ahead with a casual "We haven't decided yet," we decide we'd better decide to go ahead and decide, for fear we'll get stuck behind the crowd and never get one. Order gelato cone. I get cherry cheesecake; she gets orange. Yummm.
5:20 pm - Check Blipfoto - no response. Sit down on bench to attend to rapidly melting dessert. Yummmmmm.
5:22 pm - Check again, and this time we have the go-ahead from Archangel. Spring into action.
5:23 pm - Force my way into the crowd and turn my back to them, taking photos of what they think is an empty wall.
5:24 pm - Archangel takes his shot. Double-check his page - all is well - Mission accomplished! Done.
5:25 pm - Casually put camera away, fade back into crowd, and disappear. Finish gelato on drive back to loft.
7:00 pm - Decide the loupe tool in Aperture makes a nifty way to highlight the exact location of the cam. Snap a photo of the photo, reload, rinse repeat. Post.
Gelato with chocolate-coated, nut-encrusted cone: $4.50
Gelato with plain cone: $3:50
Bewildered looks on faces of the madding crowd, all quite convinced I'm completely insane: Priceless.

Edit: It occurred to me that this would work very well as a Blipcyclopedia entry, too - My Angle or my point of view - take your pick!
