A Stroke of Luck

1.5 miles. It was raining cats and dogs and blowing a gale, but luckily my route took me up through Otterspool Park and to the underpass under Aigburth Road. Not only an underpass, but shelter for a blipper. I usually approach this with care on my bike, not only because it is a little dark, but more especially because of the inability to see what is around the corner on the approach and exit. This shelter has the benefit of some murals painted by local school students and its walls seems to have had a reasonably recent coat of paint, but it is still not a pretty space.
