Flooded fields

There has been a lot of rain recently and these fields alongside the River Otter clearly demonstrate this. This area is encouraged to flood and is called the Grazing Marsh. It contains more water than we have seen so far. The birds and these feeding swans enjoy it.

I didn't realise just how windy yesterday was, apparently up to 90mph. No wonder the sea was such a magnificent site when I later ventured out.
