One last burst

of color. I have been watching these pear trees all season and finally took a photo. I had to slow down while I was driving home and it's taken through the windshield. I saw that there was no one behind me for some distance so I was able to do it without upsetting any other drivers. When I first saw these trees planted I thought it was very boring to just have them all in a line, but now that they have grown, when they change color in the fall, they are gorgeous.

Later in the day, we had a light snow. Just enough to cover the grass but not enough to affect the roads. Riley got to bark at two deer that crossed the road on our walk.
