Neglect At Amber Nook

It's winter maintenance time at the holiday lodge.

As well as creating a new flower bed, it's going to be my job to paint ll the external black bits. That means window frames, fascia and under verandah timbers.

I eagerly opened the tin of black stain but then realised I had a lot of wiping down and sanding before I could dip the brush into it. I just had never noticed, week by week, how many spiders webs had been built on the outside of the property!

I was just about to finish washing down the last of the low-level black timber when I thought I could make a blip out of it.
