Call them what you will

Having lived in three different countries, I have referred to these innocuous little scraps of footwear in the lingo of the natives who live there.

Flip flops, jandals and more recently 'thongs'. Can't bring myself to use that on a regular basis. For the sake of all things Australian, Mr Barking and I have arrived at a compromise - 'Jandos'.

I've been wearing them so much that they are paper thin and I've even got a tan line from them.

And it's not even summer yet.
