Heart of a peony

Holiday in Christchurch today for Anniversary Day, with the A&P show and the NZ Trotting Cup.

Weather very pleasant if rather windy, sunny, and warm in sheltered places.

Went for the minimalist approach today, rather than yesterday's full frame image, still using the same peony as a subject - completely different photo.

Couldn't believe yesterday's image went to the first page of Spotlight and stayed there all day. Thank you so much for your kind words and positive comments about retirement
