Little icicles

Kids were excited that school was closed today because of the possibility of freezing rain and snow....it never really arrived to the extent forecast. But I did get this shot of these little icicles on my rhododendron bush. Proof that it is just cold enough to stop the drops on the leaves.
The kids and I slept in and then played board games until they got in a fight....you know, one of those brother and sister things. They figured it out after a lot of yelling and "who know who" cried to her mother.....I was grateful she (mom) told her to work it out and not call her again....that has not always been the pattern in the past.
Now the other grandma has taken over for a few days and I will be back there on Sunday. It is nice being home, but it will be fun to go back too.
