Finally!!!!!

I made it to see the poppies at the Tower but sadly the teams had already removed the ones pouring out of the window.

I was quite struck by how magnificent it looked even while it is being deconstructed. It was a very poignant marker and installation. I am sure each poppy is making its way to a loving home.

Thankful for the people that put their lives on the line while sad that we still live in a time that still needs men and women in the armed forces. I wonder if it is too optimistic to hope that one day people aren't fighting wars and we do manage to live with each other peacefully and respectfully of differences.
