Lest we forget...

Ferguson & I headed up to Pots & Pans this morning for the Remembrance Day service.
Alex & I were in Hull this time last year & some other event prevented him from joining Ferguson & my first time the year before. It seems there is always something happening that prevents his attendance!
I think perhaps it would have been a nice distraction for all 6 of us, with Noodle to head up there out in the crisp early winter air.
It's quite moving really, breathlessness aside- with a short service & brass band. This year there was a fly-over too that scattered poppies over the hillside.
Ferguson even had a little cry when he saw all the dedications that had been left there- particularly with it being the 100 anniversary.

Alex arrived safely in Abu Dhabi about 10pm local time (6pm UK). His apartment looks very plush & he seems excited at the prospect of starting work tomorrow (Sunday-Thursday working week)
