Attenborough Church

Attenborough Nature Centre was a really pleasant surprise. A short bus ride from the centre of Nottingham but feels a world away.

I spotted the church not long arriving and thought there would be views of it from all over the place given that the lie of the land is quite flat.

Strangely though, the only clear view we got of it two hours of walking was here, hunkered down under the trees at the edge of the water. Which I think framed it nicely and the ducks were very obliging.

I was encouraged to see that the Wikipedia entry for the church shows a very similar shot. So it's not just me.
