NY wheels ...

When I bought my bike, my husband and I agree that cycling around the island of Manhattan one day would be one of the iconic things we had to do while we lived here. Now with only 7 weeks until we return home, and the weather falling headlong into Winter (prediction of possible snowfall tonight) ... today became the day.

Not as ambitious or athletic as our initial plan, but a lot more enjoyable ... riding through Brooklyn, over the Manhattan Bridge, criss-crossing all the little streets in SoHo, down the West Side, over the Brooklyn Bridge and a very pleasant lunch in Cobble Hill.

I must say that dealing with NY traffic is not as intimidating after a lunchtime beer!
