Gone to the Dogs

Literally and figuratively…..

This is the only derelict hydrant that I have seen. Most are painted bright colors and look quite attractive. I suspect that this one’s state may be due to the fact that it is along a popular dog-walking route. I can’t swear to it, but it does seem highly suspicious based on the evidence shown here.
