Last Gable Standing
A 5km walk took us to the abandoned village of Slaggan, where the tide was going out, so the dogs had a good run.
We nearly didn't make it as Mr E foolishly tried to stop Brodie and Fionne from going over a cattle grid and his foot slipped and he fell backwards. I heard this little cry for help and there he was, flat on his back across the metal grid, unable to get up because of the weight of the rucksack!
I did contemplate photographing him before helping him up but didn't think he'd appreciate it.
He hobbled down to Slaggan and later, limped back to the car, where he then confided that he was in quite a bit of pain. His leg is bruised and bleeding but he'll survive. If not, I'll check out his insurance! :))
