I spotted this whilst on my balcony. It makes an interesting view from directly above it.

Had a great day yesterday visiting another prison and hearing about work done on a Maori-focused unit which operates outside the prison gates with long term prisoners, though no one jumps ship and runs! As is customary there was a lengthy welcome to the centre with traditional greetings and chants and the rubbing of noses. Then food to finish it off. Blew the schedule for the visit but worth it for the experience. Maori culture is very family oriented and I find it very integrative in philosophy. Good if prisoners engage as helps re settlement after prison. Worthwhile day!
