Visiting Mom and Dad

Both of them are more and more losing track of reality. While there remain some nice moments, they start becoming rare. From outside, their lives have a kind of timelessness, every moment is a new moment and seems to be needing their full attention.. Questions repeated and sentences or explanations again and again, and yet, nothing seems to reach their minds. It's sad, even if we have more or less gotten used to it.
