Chopped

Earlier in the year I chose to sit outside for 5 minutes everyday, during lent, to try and connect with God through nature. I chose to do this instead of the traditional giving something up. When it was a work day I would often sit and enjoy looking at the blossom on what I think was a purple beech tree.
Today I came to work to discover that tree has been felled due overhanging cables causing issues. It's a bit sad, but there are plenty other trees I can find - I'll just have to walk a bit further!
