Autumn along the Canal

Pal Helen and I have had a very enjoyable morning following the route of the first of the Bradford Millennium Circular Walks which took us from Bingley to Baildon and Shipley Glen then back along the Leeds Liverpool canal and the River Aire to Bingley and lunch at the Coffee Lounge. My blip is taken on the stretch of the canal approaching Dowley Gap. Helen noticed that the depth of water is very low, indeed you can see so in my blip. We do not know why this has happened. Are they dredging/cleaning/repairing this stretch? Any local blippers any idea?
