Houghton House, Ampthill

A blipmeet this morning at Houghton House with John1989, NicoiseAnnie and CathyBen, where the sun was supposed to shine but didn't. On a positive note it didn't rain either. Good to meet up with fellow camera enthusiasts, although their equipment did make mine look rather inadequate.

We had the place to ourselves and although the views weren't as good as they could be on a clear day, it's a fascinating building and hasn't been roped off on Health and Safety grounds. A summer residence for the Tavistock family well not now obviously. If it was still in use, they'd have a cracking view of Stewartby brickworks.
