Armadillo

This was a drive by shot on our way home from visiting the kids. As always, it was great fun to visit with them. This is an armadillo and there are some interesting facts here. If you can see, their claws are very long and sharp as they sure like to dig. We have some that hang out in our yard, but they only seem to come out at night. When they think their in danger, they roll up in a ball for protection.
