The Philae lander probably made about as much impact as these leaves did on landing!

100 years ago, Europe was at war and aircraft were made of cloth and wire.
Today, cooperation landed (maybe twice!) a machine on a speeding comet, hundreds of millions of km away.
A definite improvement. :D
