It's been well over a year since this table and the room it's housed in has been free of clutter and junk, partly because we seem to have been doing something major to our 'upstairs' all that time and have nowhere else to keep saidstuff and partly because the inclination to keep it tidy wasn't that strong given it would be untidy again within a day. Everything from walnut wardrobes to a mahoosive cross trainer (which is currently in the bathroom) have lived in here and the table has been home to everything from drill bits to piles of christmas present receipts to piles of multi-grade sandpaper.

Today the whole room was cleared, dusted, dyson'd, mopped and polished. And our table is now free of crap again. If a table could speak there's no doubt it would breath a big sigh of relief before saying "and about bluddy time too".

(Except they can't because they're just made of wood).
