Pelican City

For some reason, these and many more pelicans were gathered on the sand at the beach today. There were other gatherings at this end of the beach and many more in the water. We usually don’t see so many unless it is anchovy season. Maybe they are here in anticipation and it will start soon. On a similar note, we are awaiting the November 15th start of crab season.
