They call him mister skinny legs

It seems I have been sharing my bathroom for several weeks now with a spider who's become known as 'Mr Skinny Legs' like in Peppa Pig?
He lives behind the skirting board which goes into the roof cavity and comes out every now & again to say hello but takes cover as soon as I get anywhere near.
I've no idea what the average life span is of a household spider. Perhaps a year or two if they're lucky enough to avoid being squished or eaten or thrown out.
As long as he keeps running away from me then I'll be happy for him to stay & eat the flies or bugs or whatever he's finding.

The shot is Hyde park from last year after I'd been to the festival of remembrance. I didn't think a photo of SL scurrying behind the skirting was interesting.
