Happy!

Visited a friend who lives the other side of Plymouth today. It was a glorious sunny day. Driving through the narrow country lanes and the woods of Cotehele the sun caught the golden glow of the leaves and sparkled on the very full streams as they gushed along at a furious rate! There were big billowy, white meringues of clouds that just framed the blue sky! I listened and sang along to my favourite song of the moment Pharrels "happy"and danced in my car seat! Realised this was not such a good idea as once I started it spread to every limb of my body moving including hands off the steering wheel! So changed to alt-J which I sang along to instead - until it got to Taro This is the song I first heard late one night watching Glastonbury, but never got the name of the band! I had to watch all the Glastonbury highlights till I found the clip again! Coincidentally the track is all about Robert Capa and his love of Taro and death in Indochina! Sounds gloomy but the instrumental is beautiful it sends shivers down my spine and I can't help but to move to it!
So dancing my way to my friends I passed the areas of the 3 schools I taught at - yes 3 in Plymouth! My dad once advised me when I was complaining about the management that I either put up and shut up or got out!!! Since the first is not in my nature I had to get out - and now I have permanently!!! I marvelled again that this was my past and the future unknown - but that I was happy!
My friends house was built in the 1920'2 and is just perfect! Plus she had a cellar - I positively squealed when she told me! She lifted the trap door in her bedroom and down we went! Oh what a dingy, cluttered, cobwebby slice of heaven!
Spoilt for choice re blip but it had to be the contrast of the rather ominous chain wrapped round the beam below and the colourful cabinet display above! I liked both equally! But the beautiful exterior and interior of the house with the hidden depths below were a little like life I guess - hidden depths, dark undertones, just beneath the surface - choose your poison!
