Piper's Back!

Piper is in town to give a talk about prisons, mass incarceration, and some of the very exciting work she's now doing. TEDx Talks are happening in prisons, and prisoners get to give their talks to the group as well; and Piper is about to start a writing workshop in a men's prison. Sue and I had breakfast with her this morning, and we talked about prisons, writing, and our lives. We also showed each other pictures of the children in our lives. Piper's son is exactly two days younger than Bella.
