Islamouth

First day of fishing for 2010 on the River Tay at the mouth of the River Isla with Dave, Keith, Mike, Iain and Gwen.

The weather had warmed up a bit, but there was still snow on the hills and the water was just above freezing so the fishes were a bit sleepy. I landed a nice kelt (fish that has spawned and is on its way back to sea) in the morning when we were fishing from the boat. It went straight back to continue its journey, but it was a good bit of excitement for the start of the season. Great to be back on the water.
