An unattractive dinner

Pub drinks with flat mates past and present followed my floundering attempt to make an appetising dinner. My guests ate with the disaster on a plate with remarkable politeness. These lights hang above the bar in a pub with sky high ceilings. The pub was bustling with fancy-dressed students mulling at the watering hole on their migration through the town.
