Loch Scridain
There is a saying, in relation to a given project, that if there are a hundred things that could go wrong and you can think of fifty of them you would be a genius.
Well I'm no genius that's for sure but I was really anxious about the project we have just completed on Mull because there were so many factors out of my control. The sense of relief rather than satisfaction is enormous. We have just measured two large areas of seabed on Mull and it all went like clockwork.
This is a beautiful island teaming with wild life. Notable for having no foxes Mull shepherds now fear predation of their stock from Sea Eagles the largest bird of prey on these shores. I did actually see one from our survey boat.
