PROGRESS ON THE GOLF COURSE HEDGE

By the time I have cleared the dead Hawthorn, ripped out the rampant Ivy, and felled the lofty Ash, it looks scarily open and barren up here. Only one plant in ten is still viable in the case of Hawthorn, but almost all of the Hazel is good (but enormous). I need to use ropes to manage the Hazel's fall but it's possible to bridge almost all those gaps with it. Should look good by the end of November by which time I'll be focused on the woodland again.
