Clear and Crisp

Seconds after clicking the shutter the wind blew away this dried leaf that was one of many basking on the warm asphalt road this morning. In the distance are a few of my favorite-est people, walking along with our wonderful Lola Malu.

Despite the sunshine, there is now a definite bite in the air that causes me to turn up my collar, zip up my jacket, and keep my hands deep inside my pockets. I suspect winter may be just around the corner.
