No tears, just warming his cold little nose up

I love this picture Isaac captured because it shows my 'not-so-little' boy using me to warm his little face up after our visit to Grandpa "Royer's" grave today in observance of Veteran's Day. Alex also had a yellow flower for GiGi that we picked from her cabin earlier that day. This year especially, Alex had so much appreciation for those who have served and those who continue to serve our country. He really brought awareness and gratitude to Isaac and I on a day we may not have appreciated as much in the past. We had a great day as a family with daddy home for the holiday and an impromptu visit to the family beach cabin to enjoy the (cold) sun.
