What you doin'?

This is my social secretary.

She comes to collect me from my office every evening and takes me to dinner. Her dinner, at any rate.

She gets a tad frustrated if she has to break off mid-course to head me off at the stairs and ensure that I don't go back to my office. She needs me there when she moves through to the sitting room, so that I can put some fresh crunchies down for her.

After that, she allows me to cosy up with her on the sofa for the rest of the evening, gently batting me with her left paw whenever I cease stroking her.

And today, we were extremely cosy.

She only had to ask and I would have happily lent her the book now I'm finished with it.
